Data Deletion Policy

Practice administrators can export the practice's complete record set (EHI export) from inside the app at any time — no ticket, no fee, no waiting period. On termination we provide a final export in standard formats before any deletion begins. We will never hold clinical data hostage to a payment or a renewal.

Day 0: contract ends; practice access switches to export-only. Days 0–30: final export window — we confirm receipt of your data with your administrator. Day 30: production data for the tenant is deleted. Day 90: the tenant's data ages out of encrypted backups and is unrecoverable. Written confirmation of deletion is provided on request.

Only what the law and honest bookkeeping require: billing records of our commercial relationship, security/audit logs (which reference identifiers, not clinical content), and anything we are legally obligated to preserve (e.g., litigation hold). De-identified, aggregated operational metrics are not subject to deletion because they identify no one.

Your medical record is controlled by your practice, and HIPAA gives practices — not software vendors — the authority over its retention and deletion. To request amendment or deletion of your health information, contact your practice; we route any request we receive to them. To delete your portal account (login and access), ask your practice or email us and we'll coordinate with them.

The public site stores only your cookie-consent choice locally in your browser — clear it in your browser settings any time (see the Cookie Policy). Conversations with the public “Ask AxonTron” assistant can be deleted on request.

Email support@axontron.com with the subject DATA DELETION from an email address associated with the account. We acknowledge within 1 business day, verify identity, and complete requests within 30 days.
